F-S1100 is a new flowing agent developed specifically for polylactic acid (PLA). The flowability of PLA is improved by more than 30% at a dosage level of 0.2‰ of F-S1100. Meanwhile, the thermal and mechanical properties are not affected obviously.

1. Materials

PLA: Pliith PT-101

Flowing agent: Inovia F-S1100

2. Processing

2.1 Drying: 85℃, 2~3h.

2.2 Extrusion temperature: 160/190/190/185/185/180/180/180/185/190℃

2.3 Injection temperature: 180~200℃; mold temperature: 40~60℃

Note: "PLA" in the diagram refers to PLA pure resin after extruding.
